The following statistical data represents the cost of breast implants along with each corresponding year. You will find that the graph begins to show costs for silicone gel breast implants in 2006 as that was the first year they were approved for usage.
Please note that these are national averages. There are many factors that determine costs, such as region, skill of surgeon, and individual needs. The above breast implant costs are indicative of individual physician/surgeon fees. They do not include fees for the surgical facility, anesthesia, medical tests, prescriptions, and other miscellaneous inherent expenses.
